About the Event
Black History Month: In Conversation with EVEWRIGHT
EVEWRIGHT is an award-winning creative director and artist of Tilbury Bridge Walkway of Memories. It is the first site-specific art and sound installation to be held at the Port of Tilbury in Essex and the UK dedicated to people of the Windrush Generation. EVEWRIGHT will talk about his art practice, his latest works Tilbury Walkway of Memories and his "I Can’t Breathe” art installations, disclosing his influences as well as the importance of his work generally and within the current climate of Windrush, Covid 19 and Black Lives Matter. The talk will feature a video and slide presentation of a selection of his artworks.
